Sometimes you just need a good twenty minute cry and to write it all down.

This is an easy and simple blog post, just 50 ideas things to write about when you just need a break.

  2. List of things you’d like more and less of in life.
  3. Write down the three most recent dreams you remember.
  4. The best advice you’d ever received.
  5. What would you like to change about the world around you?
  6. What scares you the most in life?
  7. How can you overcome your fears?
  8. What helps you focus? How do you lose focus?
  9. List out your five year plan.
  10. When do you feel most alive?
  11. What drains you of your energy the most?
  12. Write a detailed travel journal of one place you want to visit.
  13. Three long-term goals that you hope to achieve in the next ten years.
  14. Describe your three biggest accomplishments.
  15. Write a letter to your future children.
  16. The earliest memory you have, and how it shaped you.
  17. A letter to someone you’ll never send.
  18. Write your own obituary.
  19. Write a list of 99 things you love in life.
  20. Lessons that you learned in the last year.
  21. Write down the qualities of the person you admire most.
  22. List off the changes you’ve made for someone you love.
  23. Define your self authenticity.
  24. List your highs and lows for the last week of your life.

Writing in journals has become a release for me this year. Personally, I am a fan of the 52 Lists Project by Moorea Seal. It’s challenging, it helps you set intentions for you week, and it’s really affordable. I don’t want to force you to purchase a journal, but I would suggest giving yourself 20 minutes of alone time. Just you. Just a piece of paper. Just your thoughts. See how much it changes your week!
